      Founded at AAST Abo Qir, Alexandria. First season: research and fundamentals.

      First drone: a 3D-printed F450

      Printed in-house, then upgraded part by part with custom designs.

  2. 2024–25

      First drone flies

      From CAD model to a flying airframe.

    • Sep 2024

      Alamein International Air Show

      First of three appearances at the air show.

    • Jan 2025

      Coaxial octocopter testbed

      Eight motors on four arms, built to try new frames and materials.

    • 24 Jul 2025

      2nd place at ICMTC 2025

      First competition entered, first podium taken. Peak altitude 150 m.

      The 2025 quadcopter becomes Storm

      New body, power system and onboard autonomy.

      Alamein International Air Show

      Second year at the air show.

      Techne Summit partnership

      Partnered with Techne Summit across 2025 and 2026.

      Organised MARVL

      Ran AAST's multirotor competition, the Multi-rotor Aerial Remote Vehicle League.

      3rd place and Best Mission Performance at ICMTC 2026

      Storm's first competition.

      Orientation and training phase

      New members start with fundamentals, tools and safety before joining a sub-team.
